Some of you may be wondering where I’ve been. I honestly don’t know. The summer is just slipping by and my motivation for blogging has waned a bit lately. I guess it’s a combination of those things.

What we’ve been up to:

  • Went to WI for a couple days last week for a visit with Abraham’s parents while they’re on vacation. Orison enjoyed all aspects of cabin life, especially riding on a paddle boat for the first time (much like the one seen here).
  • Finally got to work on the new house next door. The tenants who were in our unit moved out. So this weekend we did a lot of cleaning (thanks to my amazing girlfriends). The guys demolished the kitchen to make way for the remodel, which will hopefully be starting SOON!
  • Getting our current house packed up as much as possible so that when the move comes I’ll be ready.
  • Trying to rent our house. Seems like there’s one family who’s interested, so hopefully that will work out.

That’s really all I can report on right now. Life has been busy.

I’m sure the guys had fun demo-ing your kitchen… at least my husband and his friends had fun when they did ours! I’m curious – what countertops did you decide on?

hi there, welcome back to blogging. i started reading your blog a few weeks ago having somehow stumbled across it through various links. I’ve never been to Minnesota and may never get there so it is fun to read about it in your blog.

We have lived in the US for just over a year, having moved here from Australia. I never imagined the cultural differences to be so vast and it has been an adventure adjusting. Check out my blog about our daily experiences (and family life) at American Correspondent. Living in the South (NC) certainly provides some unique experiences!

    best wishes
    Fiona

Molly – With all that you have going on, I surprised you have had time to write anything! Enjoy some time off from writing and enjoy the time that the Lord gives you this summer with Orison. Things will be much different when baby arrives and your time will be taken up with baby. Praying for safety with the remodel, delivery and every thing else that God brings your way.
